Shown below is a simple mathematical chart that shows just how easy it is to reach one billion women in just 19 days. The data was compiled by Christine Gregory, member of the original Gather the Women Guiding Circle and the resulting chart was graphically designed by Carol Hansen Grey,

If only 3 women tell 3 women we have 9. If those 9 women tell 3 women we have 27. If those 27 women tell 3 women we have 81. If those 81 tell 3 women we have 243, etc. By the 19th day we have 1,162,261,467 women.
