Colorado Springs, Colorado Gathering

The March 8 Gather the Women event in Colorado Springs was held in beautiful Shrove Chapel

 

 

Our event opened with a drumming group.

 

Local Belly Dancers performed and discussed their craft for us. They were just wonderful and did dances that were quite different from the tradition Belly Dancing you see "out there"..

 


A wonderful woman named Kiana brought her crystal singing bowls and played them for us. We used them to enter and exit our guided meditation at the beginning of the program and then again later to Ohm with

One of our breakout sessions was on aromatherapy,

 

 

and another was Yoga. You can see what a beautiful day we had!!

 

 

We asked women to share either poems they wrote or ones they loved and we read them throughout the program. This is Liz Selene with our poet-tree. Liz also lead a breakout session on writing poetry .
