A Day of Exploring our Opportunities
On this fourth day we invite women to set aside time to explore
opportunities for actions that can be taken collaboratively--
within your families, within your local communities,
and/or within your larger world community--
to weave a world that works.
Whatever issues touch your heart,
commit to educating yourself and brainstorming solutions.
Hold the thought that "If it's to be, it's up to me."
We each hold a piece of the solution.

Some ideas for activities to celebrate this
day:
- Take some time in silence at the beginning of this
day and contemplate a difficult question: What do I know to be true
about the things that are out of balance in my own life? Chose one
action you can take today to help bring your own life into truth and
balance.
- Fearlessly explore your own potential! Take a personality
inventory of some kind (like the Myers-Briggs) to identify your personal
strengths and passions; begin a journal so that you can begin to track
and explore the intuitive voices within you that are guiding you to
your passionate life purpose; commit yourself personally to one new
behavior or action.
- Gather your family for a family meeting and commit
yourselves to one major service project over the next year. Allow
every member to contribute ideas and energy so they all feel ownership.
- Invite a small group of women
to your home for tea and conversation. Margaret Wheatly says "Every
great movement began as a conversation."
- Have the first meeting of your new community
women's collaborative network with representatives of every women's
organization or group. Focus on getting to know one another and
exploring a do-able project you could accomplish together easily.
